Our children's ministry runs from preschool through Kindergarten. We understand the importance of age-appropriate learning including learning about God and faith. It's for that very reason we have our Sunday school for children during our contemporary (9:00 am) service. There they learn about God’s Word through games, crafts, and other activities. Children are dismissed from our contemporary service after the children’s message (around 9:15 am) and can be picked up from the lower level immediately following the service. The fastest way to the lower level is through the door on the northwest corner (near the Weiss St. church doors) of the church interior and down the stairs.
For families who desire to have their children remain in the worship the service, we have Quiet Bags (bags filled with activities and objects for children to interact with) available in the narthex; we also have a cry room/nursery area in the back corner of the church which includes a bathroom and changing station.
Sunday school runs the first Sunday after Labor Day through the end of May. Temporarily Suspended
Our youth ministry (6th-12th grades) meets twice monthly during the school year for activities and devotional study. Bible study groups (divided by age and gender) also meet regularly. The youth group also participates in other fun activities like service events, Christian concerts, summer trips and retreats.
All upcoming events can be found on our events calendar. To access the calendar, click here. For more information on youth group happenings, please contact the church office at (989) 755-1144 ext 101 or by e-mail.
